The ULAT (Universal Language Acquisition Tool) is an online language program offering Spanish and French in a three-year language program based on the Natural Language Acquisition Sequence.  It uses the natural means by which one learns a language. First by laying a strong oral foundation to ensure that students learn how to speak their new language. It then moves on to elementary reading and then lastly to writing.   This program can be used as a family and is geared more toward middle school and high school levels. ***If you have more than one student using this resource independently, please reach out to the resource team.    Grade-Level Coverage Upper Elementary to Adult Learners: While suitable for various ages, The ULAT is particularly effective for students from 5th grade through high school and adult learners seeking a comprehensive language foundation.   Key Features Natural Acquisition Sequence: Emphasizes oral proficiency by focusing first on listening and speaking before introducing reading and writing.  Immersive Instruction: Utilizes visual cues and auditory input without relying on the learner's native language, promoting direct thinking in the target language.  Comprehensive Curriculum: Offers over 300 lessons structured across three years, aligning with traditional high school language courses.  Flexible Access: Subscriptions grant access to all languages offered, allowing multiple family members to study different languages simultaneously. Assessment Support: Provides tests with answer keys and grading guides, though it does not automatically track progress or grade assignments.
